I wanted to post a little note to my blog friends and let you know I won't be posting for a few days.
As we draw closer to New Years Day, this is a time that becomes very difficult for me. Last year I didn't mention anything about it, because, to be frank, I just wasn't ready to share this difficult subject yet on my blog. But, I am going to share it this one time only.
Several years ago, my husband and I had a baby girl that was still born, and her birthday is on New Year's Day. This was a very tramatic event for us. And even though we are Christians, and know she is with the Lord, it is a day that is full of extreme sadness and grief. So, I do not celebrate New Years Day, and every year even the thought of starting a new year grieving the loss of a beautiful baby girl is very hard and draining.
So, this is what I ask of you in respect for her life and my grieving. Please don't wish me a Happy New Year, after you read this post. If you are a Christian, please just let me know you will pray for me on this day. That is what I need the most.
God bless you.

Rea.. I will keep you in my prayers..
ReplyDeleteRea I am going to be with you and your husband in spirit and with my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI respect your wish. Be strong!
One big warm hug
Tamara

Rea, I am sorry for your loss. I will remember you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteRea, I will add my prayers to the many who will be lifting you up before our Father who comes to the brokenhearted in a very special way. May you sense His presence giving you strength, may your heart be filled with faith that only He can give. May it somehow help you to know that we are praying for you. How brave of you to share so that we can offer the one thing that we can give...the gift of prayer.
ReplyDeleteRea you know that I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers....Sending you BIG WARM HUGS!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patricia
