Train

Hello,
Happy Thursday!  This week just seems to be flying by.  My son returned back to school from his Christmas Break.  I know he missed his teachers and friends, but not the work load.  I couldn't blame him.  I remember those days.
I would like to thank all my blog friends who left me such kind messages last week.  I am so grateful for your prayers.  I felt the presence of the Lord around me this year, in a special way.  This was very touching to me.  Thank you again.
Today I have a card to share with you using the "Train" stamp from Blue Ridge Impressions.  I loved using this stamp.  It has a very masculine feel to it, yet could be used for anyone.  I know for myself, masculine cards can be a little tricky.  I always want them to look nice, and yet not feminine.  I think this stamp would be great on a scrapbook layout too.  Here is the picture of the card.

This stamp "Train" is on page 69 in the catalog of Blue Ridge Impressions, their button is in my sidebar here on my blog, so that you can access them easily.    Just click on the button, once there, go to "Stamping", then "Catalog".  I used a base of chocolate brown and royal blue paper.  The DP is from Basic Grey, and wanted it to look like this image was framed, like a picture.  I colored the image with Distress Inks, used some of Tim Holtz film ribbon, an old key, a brown leaf from I Am Roses, and a beige rose from Whimsy.  The brown twine is from May Arts.

I would love for you to take a browse through the catalog for Blue Ridge Impressions, and they also sell lots of craft supplies with their fabulous stamps.  Jonathan and Anita are always so great about helping with any questions you may have.  By the way, if you want to use a credit card, they are now able to do that, just call them at their 800 number and they will process your order.

Before I go, I want to send Jonathan at Blue Ridge Impressions a special message.  I just want to say what a joy and honor it is to design for your company.  And also, would like to thank you for the wonderful comment you left me last week.  It truly was heart  touching, it spoke God's love to me.  Thank you for responding in God's love  to me.  You and Anita have become cherished friends to me and I thank God for you.  God bless you both.

As I close, God bless you and I hope you have a great day.
