I hope your having a peaceful Sunday and have been able to spend some time with the Lord today. He is worthy of it.
The sun is shining here today and I can feel the rays getting stronger. I also see the cardinals and robins are expecting new life soon. Spring is on the way. My heart wishes it was here.
The Twinery has started a new Challenge on their blog and since I just love their twine I wanted to play along. They want to see polka dots. The details are HERE.
Here is my card.
I used a base of burgundy and kraft paper. The DP is from MME, I just loved the polka dots on this sheet. The library card is from Daydream Designs. Which I have to tell you, I love library cards. I think they are so fun to implement into craft projects. I thought it would be perfect for on my husbands Valentine card. I wanted to achieve the love effect and yet for it not to be too feminine. The good news is, he loved it and thought it was so clever of me to use it on his card. The card stock embellishments and button are from my stash and the Twine is from The Twinery, called Marachino. I just love this red twine. It is the perfect red tone to use on your crafts year round.
I'm so glad you stopped by, God bless you.
