Rose Basket

Hello,
Happy Wednesday.  I hope your week is going well.  This week seems to be flying by to me.

It looks like the craft world is all abuzz with their Valentine cards and crafts.  I remember when I was in Kindergarten and was first introduced to the art of making Valentines, I was hooked.  I have always loved it since then.  As I shared last week, I have been working on my Valentines for this year and having so much fun with them.

Today I have a card to share with you that uses the image "Rose Basket" from Blue Ridge Impressions.  Who wouldn't want a basket of roses for Valentine's Day.  I just loved coloring these roses.  They are so beautiful.

As those of you who follow my blog know I design for Blue Ridge Impressions.    I just love their stamps.  They are so beautiful and wholesome.  I also love their Bible Scripture Stamps, they are done in the King James Version and that is the Bible version I personally read and study from.  Blue Ridge also has lots of craft supplies they offer in their shop and that makes it so convenient to pick something up as your shopping for your stamps.  I have the button for their online catalog in my sidebar, just click on that, then go to the tab for "stamping", then click on "catalog".  Very simple.   Here is my card.

I used a base of pink paper, some DP, I mounted the Rose Basket Image onto a piece of velum.  The shabby ribbon and lace ribbon with pearls, and flat pearls are from my stash, the buttons are from Melissa Frances, the doily is from Wilton.  The butterfly is punched using a Martha Stewart punch.

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope that you have a nice day.  God bless.

  6. Rea,
Such a beauty. The printed paper gives it a real heritage look as does the basket of flowers, the rose colored ribbon as well as the wee pearls. MS butterfly is my favorite.
