You Rock My World

Hello,
I hope your having a lovely summer evening.
I am entering the Challenge at Waffle Flower Stamps, they have 2 choices right now for their challenge and I chose the Technique Challenge in which they want us to stamp a background.  Here is the link and the graphic is below.

Here is my card,

I used the Rock My World stamp set by Waffle Flower.   The moment I saw this set I knew my son would love getting cards made with it.  For my card, I used the large plain rock and stamped it in black and grey ink to form the background, then I used some red ink to stamp the flower and sentiment.  I love the contrast I got with these colors on the white cardstock.  I added a red and white striped brad to the center of the flower and then mounted it onto the grey rock.   I will also be taking part in the Challenges at Sister Act and Through The Craft Room Door.

Thank you for stopping by, God bless you.

Rainbow Medallion

Hello,
I hope your having a lovely summer evening.  It has been mild and cool here this week.  Thank the good Lord for a break in the heat and humidity.

I have a card using a technique that was really fun.  It is using a stamp to make a rainbow medallion.  Here is my card.

I used a doily stamp and stamped it into 8 different colors of ink.  3 of the colors were from Papertrey Ink.  I love the rainbow of colors.  Then I added a round piece of cardstock, layered a smaller die cut red and blue piece of cardstock and a daisy onto that.  It looks so happy.  A die cut leaf and some pearls.

I will be playing along at the following challenges, Papertrey Ink, Artistic Impressions, Curtain Call and Sister Act.  Links are below.

I am so glad you stopped by and hope you have a lovely evening, God bless you.

Challenges:

I Believe......

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And of Jesus Christ his only Son; our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, dead and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he arose
again from the dead;  he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the quick and the
dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; the Christian Church; the communion of
saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life
everlasting, Amen.

Birdsong Frame

Hello,
I hope your having a lovely day.  It is a mild summer day here.  I will take it any day over the sweltering heat and humidity the midwest is known for.
I have a lovely creation to share with you today.  I decopaged a wooden frame with Graphic 45's Birdsong DP.  I used some chipboard pieces from the same collection and other embellishments from my stash.  The touch of moss adds some softness to the creation.  Here is a pic.

I just love this so much.  I am going to be adding it to my fall decorations in my home this year.  I love the Birdsong Collection from Graphic 45.  This was a way for me to use it and display it to enjoy.  I will be linking up at City Crafter Challenge Blog, Quirky Crafts Challenge, Anything But A Card, Through The Craft Room Door, and Artistic Inspirations.

I am so glad you stopped by, God bless you.

Adorable

Hello,
Today I have a quick post to share with you.
I created a card with a fun clear with polka dots overlay.  I used a piece of polka dotted acetate over the top of my red card.  Then added some fun embellishments.  Here is a pic.

The polka dotted Acetate is from Stampin Up'.  I layered it onto a red card, added the black trim at the top.  Placed a black strip of cardstock at the top and used a piece of Marachino twine from The Twinery.  The Mickey and Minnie image and sentiment are from some Disney stickers I had.  Super Cute.

Thanks for stopping by today.  God bless you.

Collecting Sea Shells

Hello,
Do you like to go to the beach?  I love it.
I made a card with a beach theme.  Here is a pic.

I used Prima's "Seashore" DP for my base and also mounted the stamped image onto a piece of it.  I added some blue and white lace from my stash.   The rosette and sweet little flowers with the bling in the middle are also from Prima's "Seashore" line.  The shell charms at the bottom are from my stash.  The image was stamped with some Basic Grey ink from Stampin' Up.

I am so glad you stopped by, God bless you.

Glassine Bag Shaker Card

Hello,
It is a hot one here today.   I am so grateful I can be inside and stay cool.

I have another shaker card to share with you.  I saw a card Teresa did over at Simon Says Stamp and it inspired me to use a glassine bag for my shaker.  Here is a pic.

I used a base of red cardstock, the DP is from Stampin' Up's "Pines and Poinsettia's and the stamped image inside the bag is also.  I added some Frantage Gold Glass Glitter to the bag with the image.   I added the sentiment from the same collection and some Marachino twine from The Twinery.   The red polka dots really give this card a fun feel.

I am so glad you stopped by, God bless you.
