Taste and see...

Hello,
A while back I ran across the most adorable coffee set and picked it up.  I knew I wanted to use it in my Journaling  Bible .  Here is a pic.

I added this to my page where Psalm 34:8 (KJV) is which says, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.  This stamp set is by Andrea Gomoll and is called "Coffee Queen".    I just love the coffee cup in her hair, coffee bean headband, earrings and choker.  So cute.   I stamped my images onto a strip of white cardstock and then colored it in.  I taped the strip down with some cute polka dotted washi.  I like to do this because you can still lift up the panel to see your Bible scriptures underneath.  And I still have the side area of my Bible to journal some notes about my highlighted Bible scripture.   Which I will do later.

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope you have had a great time on the hop I know I have and look forward to the Fall Hop.

Tropical Coffee Sleeve

Hello,
Today is day 7 of the Coffee Lovers Hop.  It really has been so much fun hopping.  I always love seeing all the fun creations other crafters have made.

For  today's post I have made a fun tropical coffee sleeve.  For this I used the Layering Hibiscus Stamp Set from Hero Arts.  It is just so fun.   Layering stamps can be a little bit of a challenge if you have never used them, and each set is a little different, but once you get it down, your good to go.  Here is a pic.

Isn't it just so pretty.  I just love it.  My son saw this sitting on my craft desk and thought I had purchased it.  He was so surprised I made it.  To make it, just simply take a cardboard coffee sleeve apart and then trace it with some cardstock or paper.  For this one I used white paper.  Then I stamped it and using pop dots to adhere it to the cardboard sleeve.  I used glue dots to adhere the pieces together.  They worked very well.  I think it's best to let it sit for about 24 to 48 hours to let the glue dots adhere really well.   Then you can use it.  Here is a pic of it on my cup.

So fun huh!

Well, that's all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by.

Relax...

Hello,
Today is day 6 of the Coffee Lovers Card Hop.  If your hopping, I hope your enjoying it.  I am.
For today's card I went for a fun glamping scene.  I really wish I was doing this right now.    Although the heat index here today is soooo high, maybe not.  Ha!  Here is my card.

So cute, huh!  I stamped off the little cup from a stamp, fussy cut it out and added it to the table.  This whole kit came from a paper company called Photoplay Paper and is called Happy Glamper.  The whole kit is so adorable.

I'm so glad you stopped by and hope you have a great day.

A Little Something...

Hello,
Today is day 5 of the Coffee Lovers Hop.  It has been super fun as always so far.
For today's card, I kept it pretty CAS.  Here is a pic.

I added a light wash of color using Ranger's Pickled Raspberries Distress Ink.  I then stamped my cup and sentiment which is from Precious Remembrances and called "Coffee Love".  And last, I added a Kate Spade Bow clip to the cup.  These are just so sweet.  I love them.

That's all for me.

Thanks for stopping by,

Latte Love

Hello,
Today is day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
For today's card I did something that has more of a summery Southwestern feel to it.  Here is a pic to show you the feel I had in mind.  This is Sedona Arizona at dusk.  Isn't it just beautiful!  The credit for this photo goes to 123hdwallpapers.com.

And here is my card,

I used my Ranger alcohol inks and photo paper for this background.  The ink colors I used are Citrus, Sailboat Blue and Watermelon.  The stamp set I used for the cup, beans and sentiment are from Stamplorations and is called, "Latte Love".

I have to tell you how as a crafter I am constantly amazed at the wonders of God's creation.  He truly is an awesome God!  And his marvelous works are always an inspiration to me.

I hope you have a great day.

I'll be linking up to the following hop and challenge:

Thinking of You

Hello,
Today is day 3 of the fabulous coffee hop, and I am just loving it.
For today's card  I used the Stampin' Up Retired Stamp Set called "Kind and Cozy".  At the last Coffee Hop we had,  I was blessed to win a gift certificate to Etsy from Helen Huber, her blog is HERE, in case you would like to stop by her fabulous blog.  Anywho, this stamp set is one of the items I got with my gift card.  Thank you again, Helen.   And here is a pic of my card.

My papers are very light.  I used some pink polka dotted paper, light pink paper and stamped my background with the stamps on white paper and used a light pink and turquoise ink.  I wanted the "Thinking of you" sentiment to stand out, so I stamped it in black on some yellow paper.

That;s all for me today, happy hopping.
