Howling Wolves

Hello,
I think winter has hit us full force.  Pretty cold.  I don't know if I am ready for it.  Ha!

Today I have a card using the beautiful Howling Wolves stamp from Blue Ridge Impressions.  Here is a pic.

I have long admired this stamp in the catalog of Blue Ridge Impressions.  It is called "Howling Wolves" and is on page 63 in the catalog.  The wolves seem so wild and free don't they?  I think so.  I colored the image with colored pencils, then used my blender pen.  It turned out fabulous.  I especially love the fur on the wolves and the moon.  I also used my Sakura silver stardust pen on the wolves fur, but you can't see it in the picture.  But it is so lovely, seeing the silver highlights in their fur.  I also used the Thinking of You sentiment from Blue Ridge Impressions, it can be found on page 15.  I layered the image onto a piece of Deep Blue Iridescent Pearl Paper and then onto a piece of Double Mates Cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of blue Double Mates Cardstock.  The Iridescent Pearl Paper can be found on page 94 in the Catalog.  The Catalog can be seen by clicking on the link I have for Blue Ridge Impressions in the Right of my side bar here on my blog.

I hope you will take a look at the New Catalog that Blue Ridge Impressions has out, it is full of beautiful inspiration of stamps, and craft products.

I will be entering into the following Challenges - Sister Act, Through The Craft Room Door, Artistic Impressions, Creative Fingers, the links are below.

I am so glad you stopped by, God bless you, Ann

Christmas Drum Wreathe

Hello,
I hope your doing well.
Today I have a Christmas Drum Wreathe to share with you.
Tombow is looking for fun altered crafty items from the Dollar Store.
Well, I love my local Dollar Store so I wanted to join in the fun.
I have a friend who is having surgery soon, so I am going to make up a basket of healthy snacks for her when she gets out of the hospital and add this cute little wreathe to it.  I know she will love it.

The red and gold tinsel wreathe is from the Dollar Store, and so are the little drums.  Aren't they adorable.  I added a bow to it with some festive ribbon, and gave it a new hanger at the top.  To adhere the little drums, I used my handy dandy Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue.  It works beautiful on so many of my crafty projects.

I will be participating in the following challenges:  Tombow's Altered Christmas Gift Challenge, Anything But A Card, and Artistic Inspirations, links are below.

I am so glad you stopped by, and hope you have a great day.

Challenges:
Tombow's Altered Christmas Gift Challenge/ I altered a Christmas wreath. And used Tombow's Mono Aqua Liquid Adhesive.

Merry Christmas

Hello,
Hope your having a lovely evening.  Tonight I am posting a Christmas card.  I am so happy to say that I have had all of mine done for quite a while now, and so these are just some extras.  Here is a pic.

I used a base of kraft cardstock, I wet embossed the Swirl and Flourish Tree from Hero Arts, and used their Merry Christmas Sentiment from their Celebrate Everyday Stamp Set.  I embossed the images and sentiment with some red glitter embossing powder.  It doesn't show the sparkle here very well, but you can see it in person.  Beautiful.  I finished the card off with some red and green plaid ribbon.

I am so glad you stopped by, God bless you.

I will be entering into the following Challenges: Hero Arts Holiday Challenge, Sister Act.

Callenges:
Hero Arts - Holiday Challenge - I used red glitter embossing powder (Mad About Metallics catagory)
Sister Act - Anything Goes

Watercolored Branch and Flourished Tree

Hello,
Rain, Rain, Go Away!!  Ha!  Yes, lots of rain here, and feels like late November, makes you think a turkey should be in the oven,  Ha!  Well, today I have a lovely watercolored card.  Just Us Girls is looking for the Ombre Technique and so I knew I wanted to participate in that challenge this week.

My card:

I used a base of pink cardstock, I embossed a panel with the swiss dot folder, and watercolored the tree image with some watercolor in a ombre effect using periwinkle blue.  So lovely.  And watercolored the sentiment too.  Then added a few silver sequins for that sparkle. The Branch and Flourished Tree, and the sentiment are both from Hero Arts.

I hope you have  a wonderful evening.

I will be entering the following challenges and the links are below: Hero Arts Holiday Challenge, Sister Act, Simon Says, Just Us Girls.

Challenges:
Hero Arts - Holiday Challenge/ My card fits the Metalics Group with the sequins I used.
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Simon Says - Use Watercolors/ I watercolored my image panel and sentiment.
Just Us Girls - Trend Challenge - Ombre Technique/ I watercolored the stamped image with a ombre effect.

My sweet boy...

Hello,
Everyday I thank the Lord for one of the greatest and rare blessings of my life, my son.  I can't even put into words how grateful I am to have him here on this earth with me for a little while (aren't we all just here for a little while!?!, I believe so.).   I have created a layout of him.  Even though he is older, I love this picture of him when he was little.  Each phase of his life has been a pure joy and privilege to be a part of.

I used the beautiful Riddersholm Vintage Venture Design Papers.  I used 2 sheets, Avenant and In Time.  Both gorgeous Design Papers.  You can pick these up at the Flying Unicorn shop.

Here is a close up,

I did add some mixed media to this, some white Gesso, I used the Prima brick stamp, glitter, and so many other things.  I am loving venturing into the Mixed Media world.  I have wanted to do it for along time and right now there are so many new and wonderful products coming out, that it makes it so much fun to add to your projects.

I am so glad you stopped by today, God bless you

Reindeer Gift Tag

Hello,
Happy Monday.  Hope your having a good one.  Today I have a fun Reindeer Gift Tag I made to use on a Christmas present for my son.

I used a white card stock for the base.   The stamp set is called Christmas Reindeer from Hero Arts.  I stamped the image, and snowflakes, and Merry Christmas sentiment from the same stamp set.  I  added some Stickles to the snowflakes.  Inked the edges of the tag with some blue ink.  The sentiment was stamped in red ink, and then cut out with a pair of my fancy scissors.  I inked the edges of that with a little blue ink also.

I will be entering in the following Challenges: Hero Arts, Creative Fingers and Through The Craft Room Door.  Thank you for stopping by and God bless you.

Challenges:
Hero Arts - Holiday Challenge - My tag qualifies for the Tag It division.
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
