Greeting Cards for Joshuah

Hello,
I hope your doing well.  I have had a hard time adjusting to the variety of weather we have had here, and all the spring allergens don't help.

Today's post is about a little boy named Joshuah who 5 years old and fighting cancer.  He is asking for some cards to brighten his day.

You can find the information about his fight with cancer and the address to send a card too at this link,  which is HERE.   I know I will be sending one, and hope it is a small ray of sunshine in his day when he receives it.  I hope you will too.

Have a great day,

Blissful

Hello,
It is snowing here and we are suppose to to get around 6-7 inches between today and tomorrow.  Unless that changes, which around here is always possible.

I have a lovely card to share with you, I will be linking it up to the Spring Coffee Lovers Card Hop, you can find the link  HERE.

 Here is a pic.

I spritzed some watercolor paper with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet.  Then used Rangers Texture Paste and a Prima stencil to the corners of the paper, sprinkled a touch of super fine glitter on top of that, and then stamped the image and sentiment (which is from Finnabair) in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  Then added the sweet dusty blue flowers.

Giveaway:
I have another card linked in the Blog Hop, and it is HERE, if you want to stop by and leave a comment there also it will enter you into the draw to win the coffee prize shown in that post.

I will also be linking up to Simon Says, their challenge is "anything goes" this week.  The links are below.

Brew-tangle and a Giveaway

Hello,
I am so excited!  Today is the start of the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  You can find the link HERE.

I have a super fun card to share with you.  I love coffee (tea and coco) and will admit that I am one of those loving all the fun trending coffee, tea, and hot coco stamps sets we are seeing right now.

I have a picture of myself to share with you, this is me enjoying a cup of coffee and a chocolate brownie.  Yes, indulging a little, ha!

For my card I wanted to do something so fun and a little out of the norm for me.  I love to do Zentangle.  And my son and I use to do it together when he was younger.  It was super fun Mommy and Son time.  So I printed out a cup and then went to town with some fun Zentangle designs.  I call this "Brew-tangle", ha!  Since this whole design on the cup is so busy, I wanted to keep the background simple so I added some coffee stains, and a splash of yellow with Heidi Swapp's Color Shine  in "Mustard".  Here is my card.

And last but not least I have a lovely Giveaway.

I am giving away 4 packages of Starbucks Coffee, these all make one single serving.  They are some of the coffee's I love.  One Starbucks Iced Coffee, One Starbucks Christmas Blend, One Starbucks Italian Roast, and One Starbucks Pikes Place coffee.  A perfect pick me up for when your are crafting.
Just leave a comment, and I would love it if you followed my blog, I always love making new craft friends.  You can follow me through Bloglovin or Google, the links are in my side bar.  The coffee hop will be from February 27, 2015 through March 6th, 2015.  I will announce the winner of my giveaway on March 7th.   I will give the winner one week to contact me, other wise I will make other arrangements for the prize.

Thank you for stopping by and have a super fun week with the hop!

Sweetheart Rose

Hello,
It is soooo cold here.  I keep telling myself that we are in the home stretch here with winter.  I will be so glad when it is over.

I have a lovely card to share with you that uses the beautiful large "Sweetheart Rose" from Blue Ridge Impressions.  You can find it in their catalog on page 37.  Here is my card.

I just knew I wanted to do a red, black and white card with this stamp.  It is so lovely.  I used a base of black card stock and mounted the image onto some black embossed and red cardstock.  I stamped the image and then colored it in.  I then added some pointillism around the image, love that!  I then added some white and red Gelatos around the edges of the black and red cardstock.  Then finished it off with a white heart that I casted myself, and colored with my red Gelato and a cute ribbon (from my stash) with hearts and says "Love".

If your looking for this awesome stamp, don't forget to stop by Blue Ridge Impressions and view their catalog, and while there you can see all the other lovely stamps and products they have, here is the link, Blue Ridge Impressions.  Once there, the catalog is on the right side of the page.

I am so glad you stopped by and hope you have a lovely evening.

I will be entering the following challenges: Sister Act, Crafty Fingers and Shopping Our Stash.

Challenges:
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash - The Big Screen - I made a card with a love theme for the movie "Sleepless In Seattle", a movie centered around love.
