Autumn Fox Kit

Hello,
I have a cute card to share with you.
In the spring Artist Crissy Armstrong asked for ideas for some new stamps.  I suggested a little fox with a leaf falling on his nose.  Crissy chose my suggestion and created a stamp.

I was so excited and when it was done and in rubber, I just loved her image.  It was just what I had imagined in my head.  You can pick him up at Whimsy Stamps, HERE.

I used a base of Kraft cardstock, the plaid DP is from my stash, I colored the image with Chameleon Color Tone Pens, the sentiment is from Blue Ridge Impressions (love it) you can find it on page 8 in their catalog, the item # is 777M - The Fox has a Den, their phone number is 1-888-298-0350.  The ribbon is from my stash.

The fox has a den...

Hello,
What a long day.  I am so tired and it's only early evening here.  The weather has been acting like late fall here and has me all mixed up.

Tonight I have a lovely card to share with you.  It uses a beautiful sentiment which is from Blue Ridge Impressions, called The fox has a den.  Here is a pic.

As a Christian it is so wonderful to know that when I need shelter from the every day trials or a storm in my life, the Lord is there for me providing a place of comfort and rest.  I know for me the first place I go to is His words, the Bible.

For my card, I used a base of kraft paper, I stamped the sentiment in brown ink, then mounted it onto some red linen cardstock.  You can find this sentiment stamp in the Blue Ridge Impressions catalog on page 8.  The link to their catalog is in my sidebar.  I added a leaf swirl die cut. some flowers and pearls from my stash.  I inked up the edges and petals of the white flowers with some brown ink.

I am so grateful you stopped by and hope you have a lovely evening.

The playing along in the following Challenges I will be taking part in and the links are below.  Simon Says Stamp,  Sister Act.

Golden Leaves

Hello,
I hope your day is going well, or starting out well.  It is early here and there is a cold chill in the Fall air.

I have a card to share with you celebrating all those leaves falling off the trees.  I always love seeing all the leaves here in the Midwest change colors and fall off the trees.  Here is a pic.

I used a base of kraft cardstock, I wet embossed a stamped leaf with Clearsnap's Watermark Ink then used some gold embossing powder.  This is a matte gold and so pretty.  I then tied some brown twine around the embossed panel.  I love the texture on the leaf.

I hope you have a great day and God bless you.

Challenges I will be entering are, Simply Create Too, Cute Card Thursday, Through The Craft Room Door, Creative Fingers, Sister Act, and QKR Stampede, the links are below.

Challenges:

Steampunk Notebook Cover

Hello,
Yes, it is my second post for today.  Not something I regularly do, but I had a project to share with you and Anything But A Card is looking for Steampunk this month and I just had to join in.

My son has come to love Steampunk as much as I do and he asked me to recover a Notebook for him done in Steampunk style.  I jumped at the chance to say yes.  Here is a pic.

I used my Cuttlebug Manual Cutting Machine and Tim Holtz Gear die, mounted the gears onto the Kraft cardstock I used to recover the notebook.  I inked up the edges of all the ivory and green gears.  I used some scrabble type stamps for the sentiment, stamped in brown ink.  Nothing dimensional on this notebook, so he can stack it on his desk.  My son loved this.

I will be joining in at Anything But A Card,  Artistic Inspirations, Creative Fingers, Through The Craft Room Door and Cuttlebug Mania.  All links will be below.

Hope you have a great night.

Journaling Bible Page, Psalm 96:1

Good Evening,
I have a wonderful new page to share with you in my Journaling Bible.  I am so loving this time in my Bible.
The scripture I spent time on is Psalm 96:1 (KJV) which says,

Psalm 96:1King James Version (KJV)

96 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

Here is a pic.

I used a beautiful Wren stamp from "Blue Ridge Impressions", he looks so happy to me and as if he is perched on that branch to sing to the Lord.  I used a music note stamp, I just love this little stamp, instead of a oval for the notes it has a heart.  And I used a mini filigree stamp at the bottom.  I double stamped the wren to cast a shadow with him, colored him in with my colored pencils.  I then used some sunshine yellow ink in the side bar of my Bible.

I am so glad you stopped by and hope you have a lovely evening.
