Steampunk Lightbulb Tag

Hello,
Hi dear blogging friends.  I hope your doing well.
I want to say that I send my deepest condolences and prayers to those in Oklahoma who have lost a loved one or experienced any of the devastation to the cities in the tornadoes that have touched down there.  The last I heard 21 children had died from the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma.  Sadly I know all too well the pain and grief of losing a child and ask that if your a Christian to please pray for these parents.  They will desperately need our prayers as they seek to start life over without their child.

I made a Shabby Steampunk tag using all scraps of things I had laying around.  Always fun to use up all those scraps and stash items.  Here is a picture.

I used a scrap of DP from my stash, the lace, ribbon, button, wire, washi, digi image, and steampunk card all came from my stash.

I just love Steampunk and love the creative process for it.  Here's a close up.

Thanks for stopping by and God bless you.

Prima Doll Tag

Hello,
I have a Prima Doll Tag to share with you.  I just love the Prima Doll Stamps and love working with them.  I grew up playing with paper dolls and so this is just so much fun to me.  I get to pick out their clothes and all the embellishments that go with them.  That's a win win!  They are actually called Fashion Dolls because of their versatility.  On this doll I love the flare on the dress and her small waist.  So fun.  Here is a picture of my tag.

For this gal I used a tag from the Prima Tag Pad.  The DP I used for her dress and the butterflies is from  The Paper Company.  The heart circle die is from Spellbinders, the rose is from Prima, the pearls and buttons are from my stash.  The string is from Wal-mart, the banner is from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The butterflies are punched from a Martha Stewart punch, the lace is from Archivers.  I colored her hair and shoes with some colored pencils.  Here is a close up.

Do you have anything planned for the weekend.  I think tomorrow I will go on a picnic at the park.  I haven't checked the forecast for the weather though, so we'll see.  Thanks for stopping by and God bless you.

Little Ladybug

Hello,
I hope your afternoon is going well.  The sun keeps breaking in and out of the clouds and it is warm outside.  There are alot of allergens in the air though.

I made a cute little card using some of my stash from K & Company, the "Sassafrass line.  It has a Boho theme to it.  A couple years ago my son got me the paper pad and some embellishments to match the collection.  Here's a picture of my card.

I used a base of kraft paper and some lace I picked up at Archivers, the button is from my stash.  The rest of my supplies came from K & Company's "Sassafras" Collection.

I gave this card and a little gift to my son's school secretary.  She has been so wonderful and helpful to my son and I the last 3 years.  He will be moving to a different school next year and I wanted to tell her "thanks".  She really deserved it.  I know so many times those positions get overlooked and I like to show my gratitude.

By the way, don't forget about my Blog Giveaway, the link is HERE

God bless you.

Christmas Joy

Hello,
It has really warmed up here, the last 2 days we have had heat in the 80's and 90's and lots of sunshine. It feels like we went from winter to summer.  No spring.  So sad.

I have a Christmas card to share with you.  I like working on them through the year and then I have them done for Christmas.  Here is a pic.

I used a base of red paper, some shabby red ribbon and a vintage button, the plaid DP is something I have loved and been hoarding it in my stash.  The bow, the tree shaker embellishment and postal "Joy" piece are all from Michaels.

I am so glad you stopped by and hope you have a great night.

1 Samuel 1:27

Hello,
Hi dear friends.  I hope your doing well.

Today I have a card to share with you using a sentiment stamp from Blue Ridge Impressions.  It is for the scripture of 1Samuel 1:27.   This scripture is one that has meant alot to me in my life.   For years I prayed for my son, and I truely believe it is the Lord that blessed me with him.  He is the greatest blessing I have ever recieved from the Lord.   I will forever be grateful.

This stamp is on page 28 in the Blue Ridge Impression Catalog.   I also used some of the "Double Mates" paper available in their catalog, this sheet was a two tone paper, dark navy blue and light blue called Icy Indago.   Here's the picture.

Here's a close up.

I used a base of light blue paper.  The DP is from Anna Griffin.  The sentiment was stamped on tan paper and then mounted on the Double Mates Cardstock.  I used one side with the light blue and one side with the Navy.  The pearls are from Michaels and the flowers are from Michaels and I Am Roses.

I'm so glad you stopped by today and hope you have a blessed weekend.
