Mix and Match

It's a beautiful day here in the Midwest.  The sky is so beautiful with white puffy clouds.

I am joining in the fun challenge over at Power Poppy this month and here is a pic of their graphic, the link will be below.

Here is my card:

I created a background using one of the small stamps from the Lavender Stamp Set and for my second stamped image I used the potted geranium from Geraniums Take Two.  I spritzed some Heidi Swapp "Mustard" spray on my background.  I colored in the geranium image with my Distress Markers and used a silver gel pen for the water spritzer and splattered some of the mustard spray on the image.   The sentiment is from Lavender set and I added a cute lady bug next to it.  I framed each image with some yellow and red card stock and finished it off with some brown twine and yellow rosettes.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a lovely day.

Coffee Love With Layers Of Color

Today I have a fun coffee card to share.
Joy Clair is a having a super fun challenge this month.  You can find the link HERE if your interested.
And this is the graphic for the color palette they chose, I just love this palette.  A fun pre fall color scheme.

Here is my card:

I used my Gelatos to layer colors from the palette.  And then layered that panel onto some kraft card stock.   I then used the Coffee Love stamp set from Joy Clair and stamped my cup image and sentiment on some kraft card stock also.   The style of card I made is a trifold card and then I added the image panel to the front.   The colors of Gelatos I used were light green, dark green, dark brown, orange, yellow/gold.  I did add a little bit of water to them and blended them out to create a swatch of color.   I loved the results of the swatch and Gelatos really lay down such beautiful color.

I am so glad you stopped by.  Have a lovely day.

Hippie Boomtangled Sampler

This is my third and final sampler for Stamplorations Bloomtangled Challenge.

For my third coloring page I printed it on white and then I used a retro hippie color scheme.  Gotta love these fun colors, which I have to say, never made any sense to me.  But always seemed to work somehow, ha!  Sage green, orange, pink and brown.  WOW!  What a punch of color.  With all the pretty greenery in this sampler it turned out great.

That's it for me, I had a super fun time coloring these, and thanks again to Shery Russ at Stamplorations for the sampler.  Links below:

Today I have a fun card with some good ice coffee and flowers.  I went for a tropical feel on this card.  Somehow I get the feeling I wish I was on a beach sipping one of these.  Ha!  By the way, I will be linking up to the following post.  And links will be below.
