Your so sweet

Hello,
I was needing a card for a friend to thank her for some wonderful craft supplies and goodies she recently sent me.  So I decided to create a card and use a beautiful digi from Power Poppy.  For their monthly challenge of September they are wanting to see creations made using Kraft Paper.  Here is their graphic and my card.

I printed the lovely "Sunflower Power" and the sentiment is from the digi "Sweet Simple Things".
I colored in the image with colored pencils and layered it onto some yellow, kraft and orange cardstock.   Then I fussy cut out the sunflower bud and layered it with pop dots more on on top and off set from that gorgeous big bloom.  I added the sentiment and trimmed it with  some rose gold Stickles.  It's the perfect fall sparkle.  And then tied some twine with a little metallic copper sparkle in it.

Metallic Bloomtangled Sampler

Hello,
It's a beautiful day here in Missouri, USA.  Hope the sun is shining where you live, or a beautiful night for you if your on the other side of the globe.  :)
I am sharing a coloring sampler today from the super generous Shery Russ at Stamplorations, here is the graphic in case you would like more info and to play along.

Here is my sampler, I printed it on kraft cardstock and then used my Metallic pencils.  Turned out beautiful.

Coloring and Coffee Planner Fun

It's National Coffee Day!!!  Yea!

I know I will be celebrating with a large cup of my favorite java.
And it's day 7 of the Fall Coffee Hop,  I can't believe how fast time is flying by.
I have a few photos for this post so please bear with me.  Ha!

First up I wanted to share how I like to cut out the cups from the cardboard Starbucks instant packages.  Here is a pic.

Then by adding a fun green clip to it I can make it a bookmark, or fun clip to use.  See next pic.

I wanted to use it in my planner and here is a pic of mine.  I am using Johanna Basford's Coloring Book planner this year.  I love her coloring books and thought this planner would be so fun.  I get a little coloring in with my planner arranging.  And you can see how I used my clip to mark my planner.

Here is a finished page for the week the hop started.   My clip and some fun fall pumpkin spice  planner cut outs from Planner Pickett.  I used a combination of colored pencils to get these pretty fall colors.  It is a lovely array of mum looking flowers.
