Finding Coffee

Hello,
Just a quick post tonight for my final card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Hop.  A big thank you to Amy for such a wonderful hop.  I truly appreciate all the work you put into the hops.

Here is a pic of my card:

I used the digi Stamplorations shared with us to use during the hop called "Finding Coffee".  I colored my image in with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  Then mounted it on to some white and blue cardstock.  I added some Nuvo drops to the middle of the cherry blossoms, and for a final touch added some pink gingham ribbon.

Julee at Verve Stamps gave us a fun Digi Set to use during the Spring Lovers Coffee Hop.  Here is the link in case you would like to check it out.   So I whipped up a card with it.  Thanks Julee, here's my card.

My card stock is from my stash pile, a kraft doily, some burlap pieces, brown twine, I colored the digi's from Verve Stamps, and added some chipboard flowers and butterfly stickers.

Bunny Latte

Hello,
So I guess today is critter day on my blog.  I loved the little Bunny Latte digi image that Craftin Desert Divas shared with us for the hop and just had to make a card.   And I want to thank them for the adorable digi.

My card:

As you can see I decided to make this little cutie a little girl.  When I saw her I also knew she needed a bow in her hair.  :)  My background and Hello sentiment papers are from the Doodlebug Springtime 6x6 pad.  To color her in I used my Zig Clean Color Markers.  Added some pink Nuvo glitter drops to her ears, nose and inside of the spoon and used some scrap pink gingham ribbon for her hair.

What's Up

Hello,
Can you believe it is day 6 of the coffee hop.  Fun, fun, fun.
My card for today is so cute, it used Gerda Steiner Designs "Gopher It" stamp.  Here is my card.

Ok, I think this is cuteness overload!  I used a base panel of ivory card stock, then I used the Essentials by Ellen Designer Stitches Cover Plate Die on the mint green card stock.  The strips of paper are from the Doodlebug Spring Time 6x6 pad.  The little goher gal, her bow and sentiment are from the stamp set.  I colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers.  The sequins are from recollections.

Springtime Coffee

Hello,
Limited Runs gave us a super cute little bird digi for the Coffee Lovers Spring hop called Springtime Coffee and I couldn't resist printing him up and whipping up a little card.  You can find the digi Here.   And a big thanks to Limited Runs for a super cute digi.

I used a base of white card stock, the striped paper is from Doodlebugs Spring Time 6x6 paper pad the same for the paper swatches at the bottom.  I colored in the image with my Zig Clean Color markers and watercolored him.  I added some Nuvo glitter drops to his flowers for a little sparkle.

Get Wool Soon In Green

Hello,
Today is day 5 of the hop, can you believe it.  It is just always so much fun.  So today I am sharing a card that will be linked up to the Coffee Lovers Spring hop, and Power Poppy.  Links Below.

Here is my card:

I used the Get Wool Soon Digi from Power Poppy, along with the sentiment.  I used my Pastel Set of Spectrum Noir Markers to color in the digi.  A base card of some pretty green paper and my DP is from the Bird Song First Edition 6x6 paper stack.  It is so pretty and has an oriental theme.  1/2 of a heart die finishes it off.

Latte Cup

Today I have another post.  I couldn't resist the beautiful digi that Jessica offered us for the hop on her website, Jessica Lynn Original, you can find her site Here.  And here is my card.

I used my Distress Oxide inks to color the cup and flower (Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick) and I used Distress Inks for the leaves and butterfly.  I added some pink Nuvo Glitter Drops to the tips of the flowers.  The papers and lace are from my stash.

Coffee Break Bookmark

Today is day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Spring Hop.

I have a fun project today, one day I noticed that the top flap of a K Cup Box would make a great bookmark.  I tell ya, I think only a crafter could see that.  Ha!  So I set out to upcycle my box flap.  You'll see below how I did it below .  It is not hard at all.

Take the top flap that pulls up when you open your K Cup Box.  Whether it is tea or coffee, it doesn't matter, they are all made the same.  Here is a pic of mine that I started with.

Then trace you paper you use to cover it with and glue or tape it down.  Now just embellish as you choose.  I kept mine pretty flat.  I don't like too much bulk with my bookmarks.  Here is my finished bookmark.

I used Doodlebug's super cute papers.  The hot and cold cup paper is called "Coffee Break", and the image of the fun baked goods is from Doodlebug too.  Then I finished it off with some red and white twine.  Here is a pic of it in my book.

I just love this and am now saving all my K Cup Box lids to make bookmarks.  I hope I inspired you to upcycle some too.  Thanks for stopping by and have a fun time hopping.

Distressed Tea Shoppe

Hello,
Today is day 3 for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  If your hopping are you having a fun time.  I always do.  The graphic and link for the Hop is in my sidebar and I also have it linked below.  Here is my card.

I used a white card stock and applied some weathered wood Distress Ink and Gold Watercolor ink for my background.  I then stamped the cup, sentiment and label image onto the card.  I just love this look of the distressed blue and gold together.  For this card I stamped the envelope with the cup too for a matched look.  I have a friend who is a tea lover and she will really like this.

Welcome Spring

Hello,
Yipeee!  It's day 1 of the spring and the Coffee Lover's Blog Hope starts today.  I just love the hops and their weeks worth of creativity and inspiration.  (Sometimes I go to bed thinking I am going to dream about coffee cards and I always wake up craving and needing a big cup of java for sure!)  Here is their graphic with all the info, the link is below.
