Mix and Match

Hello,
It's a beautiful day here in the Midwest.  The sky is so beautiful with white puffy clouds.

I am joining in the fun challenge over at Power Poppy this month and here is a pic of their graphic, the link will be below.

Here is my card:

I created a background using one of the small stamps from the Lavender Stamp Set and for my second stamped image I used the potted geranium from Geraniums Take Two.  I spritzed some Heidi Swapp "Mustard" spray on my background.  I colored in the geranium image with my Distress Markers and used a silver gel pen for the water spritzer and splattered some of the mustard spray on the image.   The sentiment is from Lavender set and I added a cute lady bug next to it.  I framed each image with some yellow and red card stock and finished it off with some brown twine and yellow rosettes.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a lovely day.

Latte Cup

Hello,
Today I have another post.  I couldn't resist the beautiful digi that Jessica offered us for the hop on her website, Jessica Lynn Original, you can find her site Here.  And here is my card.

I used my Distress Oxide inks to color the cup and flower (Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick) and I used Distress Inks for the leaves and butterfly.  I added some pink Nuvo Glitter Drops to the tips of the flowers.  The papers and lace are from my stash.

So glad you stopped by and happy hopping.

Distressed Tea Shoppe

Hello,
Today is day 3 for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  If your hopping are you having a fun time.  I always do.  The graphic and link for the Hop is in my sidebar and I also have it linked below.  Here is my card.

I used a white card stock and applied some weathered wood Distress Ink and Gold Watercolor ink for my background.  I then stamped the cup, sentiment and label image onto the card.  I just love this look of the distressed blue and gold together.  For this card I stamped the envelope with the cup too for a matched look.  I have a friend who is a tea lover and she will really like this.

I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

A Pumpkin and 3 Lattes

Hello,
Today I am excited to be entering the Stamplorations Anything Goes Challenge the link is HERE .

I used the digi image that Shery was so kind to share with us for the coffee hop.  I loved it when I saw it and just knew I wanted to use it to make a card for a friend.  Here is a pic.

I printed the image twice.  I wanted a little dimension and to give those cute cups a coffee sleeve.  I used my Distress Ink marker tool to sprintz some Aged Mahogony onto the background, and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color in the leaves, pumpkin stem and add some shading to the cups.  I used Brusho on the pumpkin and cups on one digi, then cut them out and layered them onto the image.  Then I layered the image onto some orange card stock and then kraft.  I added the Little B Gold Foil Moroccan Window Tape to the right side, love the touch of gold on this, and to finish it off some orange and white twine.

Thanks for stopping by.

STAMPlorations Dogwood Color Page

Hello,
I hope your doing well.  I am doing a quick and fun post for the coloring page challenge over at STAMPlorations.  Sheri was so generous to give us a page from here beautiful new coloring book, "Blooms" and since I love coloring I thought I would join in the fun.  I will have the link below.  Here is my page.

Close up:

I spritzed the page with a brown Heidi Swapp mist and then used my Distress Ink Markers to color in the flowers.  I used the following colors, Spun Sugar, Aged Mahogany, Spiced Marmalade, and Crushed Olive.  I colored the blooms first with the Spun Sugar and then added darker mauve Aged Mahogany near the center, in the center (pollen area) I used Spiced Marmalade and for the few tiny leaves peeking out I used Crushed Olive.  I added a few dots of clear Stickles to the center of the blooms for some sparkle and wala!  All done.  This page is so lovely, I am going to color several in different ways to use for cards and projects, I just love it.

Thank you Sheri!

And hope you all have a great day.

Joyful Tilda

Hello,
Today is day 4 of the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  You can find the link to it in my sidebar.
I am using Joyful Tilda for my card today.  She is a real cutie.  Here is a pic.

I used a base of pink cardstock, some polka dotted DP, and some DP with little vintage roses.  I mounted the image to that and colored the image with Distress Inks.  Added the pearls, rose ribbon, doilie, straw, flowers and she was done.  Just adorable!!  I'm wanting to have a tea party after whipping this up.

That's all for me today, I hope you have loads of fun hopping.
